Quest of Darkness

15 SEP 00

Since the creation of the Guild, Dark Eldar, our Guild Master, Aes n Dier, has allowed those guild members that feel they are worthy, the opportunity to prove themselves worthy of a guild title and possible leadership.  The latest of these were Meliadoul and Elidure.  The Master gave them a quest - to go to all the shrines and desecrate them with the bones of our fallen foe by our evil hands and cast a curse upon them.  Elidure had been the fighting warrior of the quest, gathering the bones and fighting face to face all that got in their way, while Meliadoul laid down a onslaught of evil destructive sorcery upon all that dare to confront the dark team.  The journeys were many and long, but in the end they would spread our evil guild's dark hand across Britannia.  The last of these shrines visited was Valor.  The Master and Blade accompanied the team on the desecration of the last shrine.  The witnessing of

its destruction was too gratifying to resist; after all it was the "Desecration of Valor!"  Mwua aah ahh aaah!  Meliadoul cursed the shrine of Valor with her evil magic, chanting the words of power, "By the Keepers of Black, I dub this land in eternal darkness!" The Master followed with words that echoed from above, "The Dark Keeper will be pleased you have done well!"  The skies suddenly grew dark as the completion of the task spread its wickedness throughout the land.  The Master called out to the dark forces and opened a gate to the Guild House, "Liche Tower."  Then, in his infinite wisdom and dark Demi Liche priesthood to the Dark Keeper, the Master, began the ceremonial bestowment of Meliadoul and Elidure's Dark Eldar guild rank.  The Master spoke words in tongues of dark that shook the lands as if they had been spoken from the Gods

themselves.  Lighting crashed upon the roof of the Liche Tower as the Dark Keeper appeared in his great Deamon form;  heat radiating from his flesh as his eyes gleamed of fire upon his minions. Those present felt their powers grow in his greatness as he rewarded Meliadoul the title of "Soul Wraith," and Elidure the title of "Death Knight."
